Kicking Off 2022!

Hey Friend! Happy New Year! We’ve rested, eaten, played, eaten, reorganized, eaten, watched football, eaten, and I can barely keep straight what day it is. I like this time of year, in part, because it reminds me of how much I enjoy structure and routine! I so look forward to all the down time, but then I reach a point where I say “Ok, that’s enough.” 😂

There is so much I want to share with you, the thoughts are rolling through my mind and I’m excited about all we will chat about in the coming year. Are you ready for a new year?! I know I am. 2021 challenged me in so. many. ways. Recently, I’ve begun reminding myself to “assume the best” (about people, circumstances, what’s to come, all the things) so that is the outlook I’m CHOOSING for 2022 (we can’t let feelings dictate us, we must choose our actions and reactions).

One thing that will stay the same is how I will reset physically in 2022 (see all the eating listed above?!?). For the past 11 years, January has meant a Jumpstart! The first 10 days helps me get rid of the “bloat” from all the holiday goodies and the next 14 days brings me back to my regular daily routine of nourishing my body well and giving it the energy support it needs (like can’t function without😂). Of course I continue eating three meals and two snacks per day while Macro Mapping.

It’s a chronological reading plan where you read a brief section of the bible and then listen to a podcast where she helps you break it down and focus on an aspect of God’s character revealed in that day’s reading. You can get the reading (or listening) plan for free in the You Version bible app and can listen to her podcast on whatever podcast listening platform you use. Each day should take roughly 20 minutes - totally doable!
